The American Memorial Park and Pacific Historic Parks are inviting Saipan youth, between the ages of 6 and 9 to participate in the Junior Ranger “Underwater Explorer” summer program.

This program provides the youth an opportunity to learn about marine environments and the mission of the park through fun underwater-themed activities.

Children will experience marine science by actively learning from field explorations and hands-on activities with a focus on oceans and sea creatures such as corals, sea turtles, sharks, and fish. Highlights of the program include arts and crafts, exploring marine environments at the park, and learning about marine life.

The Junior Ranger “Underwater Explorer” summer program will be held from July 25 to 27, 2017. Tuesday and Wednesday will run from 9am to 11:30am and on Thursday, the final day, the program will run from 9am to 2pm.

Pre-registration is required with a #5 refundable deposit. To register your child, stop by the American Memorial Park Visitor Center and complete a registration form. Space for the camp is limited. Applications will be accepted at the park and participants will be enrolled on a first come, first serve basis.
