Alter City Group demonstrated their commitment to Micronesia Island Nature Alliance’s work through their $5,000 donation toward the organization’s annual Green Gala fundraiser, which will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at Fiesta Resort and Spa.

“We greatly appreciate Alter City’s valuable contribution,” said Frankie Eliptico, chairperson of MINA’s Board of Directors. “This donation goes a long way in helping us to continue our work to help sustain our island’s natural resources.”

For over 10 years, MINA has successfully implemented various conservation projects. MINA’s current projects include Tasi Watch Community Rangers, Adopt-A-Bin, Managaha Pride Campaign, and Schools for Environmental Conservation.

In addition to lively entertainment, dinner and a variety of beverages, the Green Gala will feature brief highlights from MINA’s projects, a silent auction, and promises to be a memorable evening.

The last two Green Gala events sold out, so organizers are encouraging those who plan to attend to buy their tickets early.

Tickets for the Green Gala event can be purchased at the MINA Office in Gualo Rai, from any of the staff, or from volunteer board members.

There are four categories of sponsorship (Emerald, Title, Major, and Event categories) that correspond to the value of companies’ contribution. To become a sponsor of the event, please contact Brooke Nevitt at 233-REEF (7333), or email brookenevitt.mina@gmail.com.
