Girl, 9, says she had seen their father smoking ‘ice,’ marijuana
An alleged marijuana and methamphetamine or “ice” user who was intoxicated beat up his wife and shouted bad words at their two minor daughters at their residence in Chalan Kanoa on Friday early morning.
Jordan Robert N. Tudela, 33, was arrested for assault and battery, assault, and disturbing the peace.
When a police officer arrived at the scene, he observed the tearful wife shaking and her hair was messy.
The two minor girls told police that they saw their father, Tudela, hitting their mother.
At a hearing yesterday, Superior Court Associate Judge Joseph N. Camacho imposed a $3,000 cash bail on Tudela and set the preliminary hearing for May 23 at 9am.
Assistant public defender Matthew Meyer was appointed as counsel for Tudela. Assistant attorney general Betsy Weintraub appeared for the government.
According to Police Detective Daniel Maliuyaf, the wife stated that Tudela came home and knocked on the door but she did not open the door because he was drunk.
A minute later, Tudela came back and knocked again. She opened the door and Tudela apologized to her and stated he’s hungry and wanted to eat.
After Tudela finished eating, he woke up their two daughters, and said bad words to them.
The wife went outside and called police. Tudela pushed her head and twisted her right thumb. He then left the house.

The 9-year-old daughter also shouted at Tudela to stop hitting their mother, but he also yelled at her using bad words.
