Alcohol ban during runoff election

In accordance with 4 CMC, Section 5557, all Class-3 On-Sale and Class-4 Off-Sale retail licensed establishment are being informed that the hours to sell and serve alcoholic beverages during the runoff election on Nov. 21, 2014, are strictly prohibited from 7am to 7pm.

This prohibition shall not apply to concession stands on Mañagaha Island, CNMI airports, hotels, hotel resorts, and golf course resorts, in accordance with 1 CMC, Section 6706 (b) as amended by Public Law 16-45.

Enforcement officers of the Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco Control Division will be monitoring establishments and any violation of this prohibition will not be tolerated.

Contact the Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco Control Division Hotline at 285-1821 if there’s any questions or to report any violation of the prohibition of the hours of sale during the election.
