Air Force to conduct training at Warning Area 13B and Warning Area 13C

ASAN, Guam—The U.S. Air Force will conduct open-water training at Warning Area 13B (W-13B) and Warning Area 13C (W-13C) from 11am to 3pm Jan. 23.

It is recommended the general public, fishermen and marine tour operators monitor the Coast Guard broadcast notice to mariners for advisories.

W-13B is activated at the coordinates 15° 46”N/146° 50”E. W-13C is activated at the coordinates 14° 54”N/146° 50”E.

Both areas will support non-live weapons release. All vessels are advised to remain clear of a 15- nautical mile radius of the coordinates provided.

These types of trainings are designed to enhance the readiness of military personnel. Residents in surrounding areas should not be alarmed if they see or hear increased activity associated with the training.
