East Harbor Underwater & Shoreline Cleanup

A hundred youth and adult participants cleaned Sasanhaya Bay boat access area on Friday, April 18. Snorkelers from Rota High School and Rota Junior High School free dove for underwater trash including several large tires, while Division of Fish and Wildlife and Departments of Lands and Natural Resources removed metal and cans from the shoreline. An estimated 3,000 pounds of debris was removed from the site.
