SANTA RITA, Guam—The Joint Guam Program Office, in conjunction with the Government of Guam, will hold village meetings in the villages of Yigo, Dededo, Yona, and Mangilao to discuss the status of the realignment of U.S. Forces from Okinawa to Guam.

The meetings will consist of information tables, presentations and a question and answer session, and will offer attendees an opportunity to discuss the realignment with program leaders such as Major General (Ret) David F. Bice, JGPO Executive Director, Captain Robert Lee, Acting Director of JGPO Forward, Rear Admiral William French, Commander, Naval Forces Marianas and other DoD officials.

“Although the meetings are being held in four villages at this time, we recognize the impact this will have on the community island-wide,” said Bice. “Residents from other villages are welcome to attend these sessions and we will continue to keep the community informed and engaged in the coming months.”

All Village Meetings run from 6pm to 8pm.

May 12 – Mangliao – Mangliao Community Center

May 13 – Yigo – Yigo Gymnasium

May 14 – Dededo – Dededo Senior Center

May 15 – Yona – Yona Community Center
