WIA Summer Youth program is back for Summer 2008

The Workforce Investment Agency is offering applications for the Summer Youth Employment and Training program. The applications will be accepted from March 17 to April 18, 2008.

If your age 14-21, a U.S. citizen, and unemployed you are a eligible. The program will be a preparation for youth participants into working in the business environment.

A workshop will be conducted at the American Memorial Park in Garapan from on June 9, 2008 to June 13, 2008. Qualified participants will learn proper ways of work ethics, customer service, telephone etiquette, and personal grooming.

Participants will work in private or public sectors. They will officially begin working on June 16 to July 25, 2008.

Applications will be available at the Workforce Investment Office, Marianas High School, Southern High School and Kagman High School’s counselor’s offices. For additional information, you may contact them at 664-1704. [B][I](WIA)[/I][/B]
