Beach Road Magazine is revving up for its second annual car rally set for May 24.

Beach Road Magazine account manager Susan Marchitti, who is also the event’s overall coordinator, said that people were raving about last year’s car rally, prompting them to hold the event again this year.

“I’m really hoping that we can get as much participants if not more for this year,” Marchitti said in an interview.

She said the event promises all sorts of fun and surprises and even bigger cash prizes.

Last year’s car rally drew at least 13 cars. This year, Beach Road aims to attract more.

According to Marchitti, the car rally will take the participants to interesting points around the island, testing their IQ and scavenger hunting skills.

“It’s a fun event. Everyone who joined last year said they had lots of fun and asked us to do the event again,” Marchitti said.

Individuals who are at least 16 years old are invited to join the event, provided they turn in a parental consent form prior to the event.

Driver’s licenses and car registrations will be checked.

The 2nd Annual Car Rally registration is $15 for each car. Forms can be picked up at the Beach Road office at the Transpac Business Center in Gualo Rai.

Individuals may also call the office and they will fax you a registration form during regular business hours from 8am to 5pm.

The deadline for registration is May 22.
