Aqua Resort Club will have a treat for all sweet-tooths out there during its Administrative Professionals Day tomorrow, April 23, at the Costa Terrace and Raraina restaurants.

Dubbed “Sweet Paradise” Special Lunch Buffet, the event will feature delectable dessert offerings not for the faint-hearted, according to Aqua Resort food and beverage sales manager Yoshimi Yanagisawa.

“The buffet contains a great dessert buffet especially created for this event,” she said.

In keeping with the midday afternoon’s theme, live entertainment consisting of soothing piano music will be rendered by Philip Garcia.

“This will be suitable for the classy ladies who always love to dine at Aqua Resort,” added Yanagisawa.

Aside from the delicious buffet lunch, Aqua Resort will also give away boxes of homemade chocolates and orchids to all administrative professionals that dine at the Achugao hotel during the event.

“We call the event ‘Sweet Paradise’ because aside from the dessert buffet extravaganza, we will also be giving away chocolates to secretaries and administrative staff during the day,” Yanagisawa said.

Aqua Resort will also hold a raffle, sponsored by DFS Galleria, after the special lunch buffet.

“In the lobby, we will have Aqua Resort open shop for the ladies, and we will have spa gift certificates available, too,” added Yanagisawa.

Costa Terrace and Raraina restaurants’ “Sweet Paradise” Special Lunch Buffet costs $20 per person. With 10 percent local discount, the price goes down to $18. For inquiries and reservations, call 322-1234.

Administrative Professionals Day, formerly known as Secretary’s Day, is an unofficial secular holiday observed on the Wednesday of the last full week of April, to recognize the work of secretaries, administrative assistants, receptionists, and other administrative support professionals.

National Secretaries Week was created in 1952 through the work of Harry F. Klemfuss of Young & Rubicam, in conjunction with the National Secretaries Association, now known as the International Association of Administrative Professionals.

His goal was to encourage more people to consider careers in the secretarial/administrative support field.
