DUI/sobriety checkpoints this week

The Department of Public Safety will be conducting DUI checkpoints this Friday and Saturday.
On Friday, April 18, the first setup will be on Beach Road Susupe by the Multi-Purpose building. This operation will start at 7:30pm and will end 8:45pm. The second setup will be onb Chalan Pale Arnold Road in Garapan by the Horizong Building. This will start at about 10pm and will end around 11:15pm.
On Saturday, April 19, the first setup will be on Beach Road Chalan Kanoa by Meenas Store. This will start at around 7:30pm and end at 8:45. The second setup will be on Chalan Pale Arnold Road in Gualo Rai by Sherwin Williams building. This operation will begin at 10pm and end at around 11:15pm.
Each checkpoint conducted will last at least 75 minutes (one hour and 15 minutes) at each location.
In addition, traffic officers will conduct highway criminal interdictions, saturation patrols, aggressive driver interdiction, and laser activities.
