Security Title’s Young wins business award
Previously nominated for the 2006 Guam Businesswoman of the Year, Young has over 20 years of industry experience.
“While I am extremely honored to receive this prestigious award, I also realize that it could not have happened without all of the hard work and support from the Security Title staff in Guam and the CNMI,” said Young. “This award is truly meant for all of us.”
An Alaska Business College graduate, Young obtained her real estate sales and brokers licenses in Alaska, as well as a real estate brokers license in Maui, Hawaii.
In 1987, Young moved to Saipan, where she started Blue Pacific Helicopters. She sold the company to Northwest Airlink in 1989 before returning to the title and escrow business, where she opened Security Title in 1996.
In 1999, Young moved with her family to Guam, where she started Security Title, Inc.
Strongly committed to Guam’s community and to corporate citizenship, Young and Security Title, Inc. have contributed up to 10 percent of yearly corporate profits to charitable organizations such as the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts of America, Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross and other organizations that support the islands education and military population.
