Gunma-TV Japan to showcase Tagaman Saipan
Gunma-TV Japan was on Saipan March 13 – 17 to cover Tagaman. This TV channel reaches over 30,000 households. The programming features celebrity news and domestic travel. This year, they are bringing their audience to the 2008 Tagaman event.
Not only will they showcase Tagaman, they will show the beauty of the island of Saipan to its viewers. While here, they had an opportunity to visit Managaha Island, the Garapan street market, Banzai Cliff, Last Command Post, Bird Island, the Grotto, Suicide Cliff and many other destinations around the island.
The program “Morning Live Information/Mid-Day Live Information” has been airing for 12 years. The viewer profile is male and females in their 20s – 60s. Each 4-minute Tagaman feature will air eight times for a total of 32 minutes of programming to showcase the event as well as tourist spots on Saipan. Airing will take place in April and has an estimated value of $68,571 U.S.
