No Fear, Pikan Gaga earn finals berth
No Fear and Pikan Gaga earned the first finals berth in the men’s and women’s divisions of the Indoor Volleyball Winter League after scoring wins over separate opponents on Monday night at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.
No Fear earned the first finals slot in the men’s side after a three-set 25-23, 24-26, 15-6 win over Ol’Aces.
The loss meant Ol’Aces will face the winner of the Menudo-Fanians match, which was being played at press time.
Other results last Monday had Menudo eliminating CH-Hammer after a 25-20, 25-17, decision but fatigue forced Menudo to forfeit their second game against Fanians. The two met again yesterday and results are not yet available as of this writing.
In the women’s division, Pikan Gaga earned the first finals spot after a 16-25, 25-22, 15-10 decision against YoYo’s. Pikan Gaga will face the winner of the Beach Jammers-YoYo’s match in tomorrow’s finals.
Beach Jammers earned the right of facing YoYo’s after a 25-21, 25-27, 15-13 triumph over Seikid.
