Applications being accepted for Combined Federal Campaign

[B]SANTA RITA, Guam[/B]—The Federal Executive Board said yesterday that it is now accepting applications from tax-exempt charitable organizations, federations and Morale, Welfare and Recreation activities to participate in the 2008 Hawaii-Pacific Area Combined Federal Campaign, or CFC.

The CFC is an annual fundraising drive conducted by federal employees in their workplace each fall and benefits non-profit charities. The purpose is to promote and support philanthropy through a program that is employee focused, cost-efficient, and effective in providing all federal employees the opportunity to improve the quality of life for all.

Applications are available at www.honolulu-pacific.feb.gov or www.cfc-hawaii.org. Deadline to submit application is 4pm of March 31, Hawaii time.
