The Division of Immigration has sought the deportation of a 52-year-old woman whose Immediate Relative entry permit allegedly expired three years ago.

According to Immigration investigator Nicolas T. Reyes, Rhodora T. Tesero, a Filipino, has failed to comply with the terms of her entry and that she is a deportable alien pursuant to Commonwealth law and regulations.

Following the filing of the case, Superior Court associate judge David A. Wiseman ordered Tesero to appear in court on March 27, Thursday, to explain why she should not be deported from the CNMI.

Reyes stated in his report that the respondent’s IR entry permit that was issued June 18, 2004, expired on May 15, 2005.

Reyes said he received numerous calls from tipsters that Tesero is divorced from her husband, Jesus Tesero.

The investigator said Mrs. Tesero did not submit any application with Immigration Processing Section to update her Immigration status.

Reyes said that based upon his information, Mrs. Tesero has been staying with her children in Finasisu.
