Aetna provides help in wake of Soudelor

Share

In response to the destruction following Typhoon Soudelor, Aetna has procedures in place to make sure members have easy access to health care you need on Saipan during this difficult time.

Here’s what members need to know:

Most of the doctors on Saipan are in Aetna International’s NetCare network, so the providers will bill Aetna International on behalf of members.

If members have incurred an expense with a provider that is not part of Aetna International’s network, they can submit the claim for reimbursement. If they have lost their receipts, members can call Aetna International’s Member Services Team for help.

The Aetna International pharmacy team is ready to help authorize prescription refills for members in case their medications were lost in the typhoon. Members can contact the three in-network pharmacies regarding their prescription refills via the pharmacy help desk at 888-792-3862.

We are offering a free clinical consultation service to members coping with stress and other psychological effects as a result of the typhoon. Members can call the International Service Center 800-231-7729 (toll free) or 813-775-0190 (collect) and ask to be transferred to an International Employee Assistance Program counselor.

Members can contact Aetna any time by calling +813-775-0190; fax: +859-425-3363; or email: aiservice@aetna.com. (Aetna)
