Adventure awaits at Saipan’s first 4D Rider

While there are no carnivals or theme parks at present in the CNMI, one resort is bringing on Saipan the next best thing—4D Rider.

Staying true to its goal to create the most fun resort in the Pacific, Saipan World Resort is the first to bring this newest attraction for the public to enjoy.

But what is a 4D Rider?
“Saipan World Resort is proud to present the first ever 4D Rider to Saipan! Providing state-of-the-art 4D technology, the 4D Rider combines 3D CGI video with state-of-the-art motion-simulating seats to give you the most realistic experience possible,” World Resort sales & marketing manager Mike Babauta said.

Simply put, it is going inside a theater but coming out almost realistically experiencing what you saw. It is almost like riding a rollercoaster or extreme train rides in the comfort of a theater.

Say for example, the film shows a train ride where the tracks are so old you fall so many times to pits and bump into walls. Or maybe you are riding a fighter space jet in some planet fighting invaders and being chased by evil aliens—all that you experience so real, you might even be afraid of holding the safety railings in front of you because the mad alien you disturbed looks so close and is banging on your ship! (But be reminded that you should really hold on to that railing as a safety measure)

With 20 short films to choose from, ranging from 4 to 5 minutes in length, everyone in the family can find their own favorite adventure.

But that is not the only thing that Saipan World Resort is bringing into the CNMI. They also have new additions to their water sports and activities.

World Resort is bringing in not one, but three Aqua Glide water park which are inflatable equipment used on the beach for more fun in the water!

First of the three new water park equipment is the inflatable “RockIt” where four people try to balance and ride it like a merry-go-round. The first to fall on the water is out!

Another one is the W-shaped teeter-totter where two groups balance to play as well and topple each other.

The last one is an energy-exhausting supertramp trampoline where kids and adults alike can jump as long as they can and slide to the water.
