Adaza is Bayani Association’s president
The Bayani Association inducted a new batch of officers and board at the Philippine Honorary Consulate Office at the Sun Palace Hotel last Dec. 20, during which they named Maria Annamae G. Adaza as the association’s new president.
According to Adaza, honorary consul Glicerio “Eli” Arago was the inducting officer.
The organization is now headed by Adaza, Yolanda De Ramos as vice president, Marie Paz Meister as secretary, Ladyvir Canape as treasurer, Mario Mayuga as auditor, Teogenes Mendoza as public information officer, and the safety officers are Ronald De Ramos, Jaime Del Peralta, and Rogelmar Dagahoya.
The board of directors are Leonila Mendoza, Nelida Atalig, Lolita Velasco, Ronald De Ramos, Fernando Enano, Adaza, Canape, Mayuga, and Meister.
Adaza said the members are the backbone of the organization and encouraged everyone to continue to serve the community.
In his message, Arago stated that he is happy with the fellowship within the Bayani Association, for being active in the community, and for helping the Guam-based Philippine Consulate General in its mobile outreach.
Arago recognizes that they are all doing volunteer work but reminded the association’s members to take care of their health so they can do more for the community.
Leonila Mendoza, who is a former president, received a certificate of appreciation last Dec. 20. She said that she is so thankful for all the support of the members during her term. Mendoza applauds the association for they were able to assist the needy even during a pandemic.
The short induction ceremony was followed by a Christmas Party at Pepoy’s Restaurant in Chalan Kanoa.
