Abuse of govt property

Michael Pai: I have witnessed a pre-election incident involving the Department of Public Works heavy equipment that was used to clear a piece of property in the Dandan polling site this past Nov. 3. The heavy equipment used was a John Deere backhoe marked “DPW” that was used to clear a GOP campaign site.

I believe this is a clear abuse of CNMI government law on uses of government-owned property and manpower not for a public purpose. This is a shame to those who resort to abusive means that destroys the public trust and clearly proves that the person or persons in government office have no respect and have stolen and used for personal gains public property and manpower and fuel. I demand that an immediate investigation into this matter be conducted.
