About My School
This essay is about William S. Reyes Elementary School, where I’m currently studying. It was founded in 1946 by William S. Reyes. W.S.R. used to be called “Chalan Kanoa Elementary School”. WSR is the biggest elementary school on Saipan. This school is fun but educational; it can also be both sometimes. It is not a private school. To the people who don’t attend this school, I am Kate and I will be telling you about WSR.
To start, I will be telling you about some of the activities we play. We can play soccer in our field that is located in the middle of our school. We can also play basketball in our basketball court which is located at the back of our school. After school activities include healthy lifestyles, volleyball, and softball. Now I will tell you about our schedule. Our school starts at 7:40 am. At 9: 40 we go out for recess. We have two breaks in total; first is at 9:40 am and second is at 12:40 pm, if we eat lunch early. Then we go home at 2:40pm.
Now that you know what some things we can play are and what our schedule is, I think you need to know our rules and principal. Our principal is Ms. Naomi Nishimura. She has been our principal for the past seven years. She is nice and knows all the staff members, and the Student Council. Our new Vice Principal is Ms. Jocelyn Manibusan. Our rules are no bullying, no kicking, no punching, and not going out of the campus unless it’s after school. One of the most important rule is never trust strangers. In my school, safety is the most important thing aside from education. Never take a stranger’s candy because it might be poisoned or some form of trick to kidnap kids in the school. Finally, you should always be a peace builder. In my school, education is also important because that’s what school is all about. I hope you like learning about my school and its features, because this is the end of my essay.
