BEH closes down San Antonio resto

The Bureau of Environmental Health ordered closed the Bento House in San Antonio in October after a sanitary inspection allegedly showed “serious violations of health and sanitation standards and the rules and regulations.”

The bureau statement issued Tuesday did not indicate the specific violation cited, nor did it show if Bento House has since addressed the concerns or if it has already re-opened.

“There may have been changes to these grades since this information was released. For update information, please call the Bureau of Environmental Health at 664-4870 or fax 664-4871,” the bureau statement said.
