TakeCare offers Asia Health Plan, opens Philippines referral office
As a consumer health organization committed to making available a broad range of quality, accessible, and affordable health care services to the region, TakeCare introduces its Asia Health Plan and its expanded network of facilities.
“Consumers are becoming more conscious of where their healthcare dollars should be spent as well as the associated travel when receiving care off-island,” said Joseph Husslein, president and CEO. “With this in mind, our Asia Health Plan provides a cost-effective alternative with an expanded, quality network of facilities throughout Asia.
This means that TakeCare clients may now also avail of healthcare facilities in Japan, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, and the Philippines, with hospitals and clinics that have a reputation of providing internationally recognized quality health care.
“In doing so, TakeCare members enrolled with our Asia Health Plan are provided with more affordable and accessible health care along with reduces travel time and costs to quality facilities,” said Husslein.

Complementing its Asia network expansion, TakeCare recently opened its Medical Referral Office in the Philippines to assist its members when they visit St. Luke’s Hospital.
