Copper wire thieves struck at a farmhouse belonging to Pacific Medical Center owner Dr. Fahd Al Alou along Airport Road Friday afternoon.

Department of Public Safety acting spokesman Sgt. Thomas A. Blas Jr. said that preliminary investigation conducted by Patrol Officer Emery Kaipat showed that Dr. Al Alou, who was visiting his farmhouse north of the Shell Service Station, had found the door of the farmhouse already open.

Upon inspection, Dr. Al Alou noticed that the drop line for the power line from the power pole to the farmhouse’s weather head was missing.

The doctor called police.

Blas appealed to anyone who has information about the incident to call DPS Criminal Investigation Bureau at 664-9045 or the Crime Stoppers Program at 234-7272.

Early last week, unidentified person or persons stole a copper wire at the Commonwealth Health Center.

The theft happened at CHC’s Bureau of Environmental Health Office on Navy Hill.

Bureau employees observed that the drop line from the power pole to their weather head was missing. [I][B](Ferdie de la Torre)
