LISS students enjoy success in PGFC, Math Court tilts
Students of Ladera International School of Saipan, under the tutelage of Jehan Manghis, made a splash in their first entry into the PGFC and Math Court competitions.
Kevin Choi and Lynn Han took first places in both Algebra and in Number and Operations. Rachel Kim took third place in Numbers and Operations and Jason Lee took third place in Algebra.
Jelli Mangahis took first place in PGFC Reading while Michael Park took fifth place in the same. In Choral Speaking, Lynn Han, Rachel Kim, and Jelli Mangahis took fourth place and Michael Park, Kevin Park, Jason Lee, and Keven Choi took fifth place.
Dr. E. Roland Brown recently joined the LISS team.
The school said that slots available for local students are already quickly disappearing. “Just last week, nine new local students enrolled,” the school said in a statement.
“LISS hopes that by fully participating in Math Court, PGFC, and other community activities, it can join other schools in making the CNMI a center for excellence in education for Asia and the Pacific,” the statement said. (PR)
