For the first time on Saipan, four individuals will have to fight twice on the same night.

This, after organizers of this Saturday’s Pacific Xtreme Combat Preba Hao announced that the fight card includes two four-man battles.

According to fight card organizer Cesar Whitt, a lightweight four-man battle will be on for the show, with the winner earning the right to represent Saipan in a four-man battle on Guam. A heavyweight four-man battle will also be on the card, and much will be at stake as the winner will earn a title bout against PXC champion Manny “The Enforcer” Chong.

Already confirmed for the four-man heavyweight competition are Charleston Aiken of Graccie Barra, Kelvin “The Big Hit” Fitial of CHOKECHAIN, Juan Iguel of TK9, and “Kill” Bill Saures of Dragon Tribe.

Aiken and Fitial are coming off victories in PXC Preba Hao last Sept. 8. Saures looks to earn a rematch as he also put up a good show in the main event that evening, taking Chong to the limit.

Whitt explained that the four will be paired up and face off, similar to a semifinals competition. The two winners will then advance and test each other’s endurance and stamina in a winner-take-all finale.

The fighters have yet to be paired up as Whitt will be coordinating with PXC officials in the coming days.

The lightweight competition featuring fighters between 145 and 150 lbs. is also one to look forward to as Leroy Sablan of CHOKECHAIN, Manny Laniyo of Graccie Barra, Shabb Sablan, and Steve Suzuki will battle for supremacy.

Laniyo and Suzuki will be making their debuts, while Leroy Sablan is coming off a successful debut last month. Shabb Sablan also has experience under his belt after fighting in an event last month as well.

The four-man battles are not the only thing to look forward to, as hell will break loose with several under card bouts.

Jay Muna of Graccie Barra puts his 2-0 win-loss record on the line as he faces Lee Reyes in the 130-lb. weight class, while Jaime Homosila of Dragon Tribe and Jay Tilipao of CHOKECHAIN collide in the 140-145-lb. class.

Dragon Tribe’s Joe Pangelinan will also face Joseph Lisua in the 145-150-lb. weight class, while CHOKECHAIN’s Myron San Nicolas and Chris Sablan of Team Toka battle in the 190-lb. class.

Dragon Tribe’s Lucio Omar also returns after a successful fight in the September edition as he battles Bernie “The Shadow of Death” Neth, while Philip Teregeyo of CHOKECHAIN and Jeremy Faisao put each other to the test as well.

Whitt explained that four more bouts are currently in the making as Robert brothers Frank and Anthony are awaiting confirmation from their opponents, while details of another two fights are being finalized.

PXC Preba Hao tickets are already available, with general admission costing $25 and VIP seating costing $45.

Pacific Trading Co. promotions and marketing manager Mike Babauta recently disclosed that all mix martial arts fans and supporters can purchase their tickets at various outlets, such as SaipanCell Communications in Gualo Rai, the Saipan World Resort, and Pacific Trading Co. located in Puerto Rico.

While fans will have to wait until Saturday to witness another explosive MMA event, fighters will be able to meet their opponents, as organizers will hold the official weigh in on Friday, Nov. 10, beginning at 5pm. The event will be held at Ocean’s Bar at the Paseo De Marianas.

Doors for the event will then open at the Saipan World Resort’s Royal Taga Hall at 7pm on Saturday for the fights.

PXC Preba Hao is sponsored by Miller Lite, Pepsi, SaipanCell communications, and Marianas Cable Vision.
