Pumpkin delight at Hyatt in November
Celebrate the bounty from the ground at Hyatt Regency Saipan, with its featured pumpkin special menu at its premier dining halls this month.
Hyatt executive chef Gabrielle Colombo said mouthwatering pumpkin delicacies are available at Giovanni’s Restaurant and Teppanyaki.
“It’s pumpkin season and we will let you taste different cuisine made from it. We have to be creative with pumpkin,” Colombo said.
At Giovanni’s, these special menus include smoked duck capracchio with crispy beans and mini pumpkin bisque; arborio rice with pumpkin, chestnut, and sage; open pumpkin lasagna with seared seafood; grilled Angus beef sirloin on gratinated pumpkin mash with grape red wine; and pumpkin mousse on cinnamon cream Anglais and shortbread cookies.
This special offering takes place until Dec. 23.
Giovanni’s five-set menu costs $70.
Giovanni’s adjacent Teppanyaki also features pumpkin specials during the month of November.
“Sate your taste buds with our special pumpkin set menu at Teppanyaki. A combination of steak, lobster, and pumpkin will be prepared in front of you by our skilled chefs,” said Colombo.
These delectable pumpkin dishes include marinated salmon with tobiko caviar and pumpkin chips, pumpkin and red onion, and miso soup with roasted pumpkin and pickles, among others.
Teppanyaki’s pumpkin special menu costs $85 per person. It is available up to Dec. 23.
At Hyatt’s Miyako Restaurant, November and December is Nabe time. Nabe dishes refers to hot pot dishes prepared in a hot pot, usually placed on the table. Its typical ingredients include vegetables such as negi or Japanese leek and hakusai or Chinese cabbage, mushrooms, seafood and or meat.
Nabe dishes are especially popular during winter months.
“It’s a very popular Japanese dish at this season,” said Daryl Thong, assistant director of Food & Beverage.
The nabe special dishes will be prepared by Miyako’s chef Yuki Okamoto.
[B]Thanksgiving menu[/B]Hyatt’s celebration this month will be highlighted by the Thanksgiving event on Nov. 23.
On that day, Giovanni’s and Kili Café will team up to offer a sumptuous Thanksgiving brunch at $35 per person. Children get a 50-percent discount.
The brunch special starts at 10:30am to 2pm.
In the evening, Kili Café and Terrace will hold its Thanksgiving dinner buffet from 6pm to 10pm.
“Come celebrate with your loved ones in the best restaurant on island, said Thong.
The dinner buffets costs $35 per adult and $17.50 per child.
Club at the Hyatt member discounts apply at all times. The membership costs an annual fee of $250. If the member carries the spouse in the membership, an additional $50 will be paid, for a total of $300.
If three people enroll at the same time, they will only pay $235 each, plus $50 each if they register their spouses.
For an annual membership of $250, a member gets a complimentary room voucher, complimentary cake, a bottle of wine, a relaxing massage for two for the price of one at Club Elan, and 50-percent discount for rooms and restaurants at all Hyatt participating hotels.
