Shell Marianas has lowered the prices of its gasoline by 10 cents a gallon citing continued decrease in fuel cost in the regional market.

Shell Marianas said in a statement yesterday that it will lower the price on premium and unleaded gas and diesel fuel effective at the close of business on Nov. 1.

“Since our last downward price move, our cost of product continues to decrease; and as a result, we continue to pass these savings onto our customers,” said the oil company.

This is Shell’s fifth rollback of prices since early September.

Based on the latest price reduction, Shell’s regular gasoline now sells at $3.249 for full-serve and $3.119 for self-serve.

Premium gasoline will now be sold at $3.409 for full-serve and $3.298 for self-serve.

Diesel will be sold at $3.429 per gallon.

Shell first rolled back its pump prices for gasoline and diesel by up to 7 cents per gallon, then by 10 cents for regular and premium gasoline.

In late September, it reduced its prices for regular and premium gas by 10 cents and diesel by 5 cents.

A few weeks back, it implemented another 10 cents decrease for regular and premium and 5 cents for diesel.

Shell Marianas made its last price increase by 7 cent per gallon last August.
