Master Arnold Kim is offering free Taekwondo classes for children 7-12 years old at the Ladera International School of Saipan along Tun Joaquin Doi Road in Fina Sisu.

Classes begin on Nov. 6 and will be held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 3:30pm to 5pm for eight weeks.

Taekwondo is a modern martial art, characterized by its fast, high, and spinning kicks. It is often translated as “the way of hand and foot.”

Master Kim’s Taekwondo classes aim 1) to develop an appreciation for Taekwondo as a sport and as an art; 2) to achieve physical fitness through positive participation; 3) to improve mental discipline and emotional calmness, 4) to learn self-defense skills, and 5) to develop a sense of responsibility for one self and others.

Ladera International School of Saipan and Master Kim are offering the classes for free. Students, however, are required to purchase their own uniforms.

Slots are limited so those interested are requested to apply as soon as possible.
