Tan Holdings Corp. will bring some “MICE tourism” to Rota this weekend when it holds an executive business planning retreat at the Rota Resort & Country Club.

Some 31 Tan Holdings executives will start arriving on Rota Friday morning from around the region. The group will meet for three days to share business plans and strategies for 2007, and engage in fellowship, do some sightseeing and management team building activities.

“We see Rota as an ideal place for our company leaders to focus and share their ideas with one another in a retreat setting. We look forward to spending some time on this beautiful and peaceful island,” said Tan Holdings president Jerry Tan.

Founded in Guam in the ’70s and today headquartered on Saipan, Tan Holdings is a diverse holding company that does business in more than a dozen industries in the Western Pacific. Executives of the company will be coming in to Rota this Nov. 3 through 5 from Saipan, Guam, Palau, the Federated States of Micronesia and Manila. (PR)
