Haunting and scary night at PIC
His identity will be revealed on Tuesday at 9pm at Pacific Islands Club. Mr. Mad Scientist and his secret laboratory will finally be exposed and his five spooky created beings made known—Frankenstein, Werewolf, Headless, Mummy and Vampire.
“You don’t want to miss it. Come on down on October 31st at PIC to unravel the mystery of the scientist and his five monsters,” said Sergei Bargamotov, PIC’s Entertainment Manager, who conceptualized the hotel’s Halloween show this year.
Russian-born Sergei, who is into painting, designs and stage production, said he himself will be part of the show, playing one of the five characters – Virgil the Vampire. He said the monsters will come out one by one at the command of the mad scientist during the show. Sergei added the production will definitely be enjoyed by both children and adults alike. It will be divided into two parts. The first part is “cute and funky” according to Sergei, featuring Frankenstein and Headless. The second part, as Sergei puts it, could be “a bit scary.” At this point, the three remaining characters—Mummy, Vampire, and Werewolf—will make themselves known to the audience.
During the show, Sergei’s team will also look for the best Halloween costumes among the guests.
“There will be prizes for each category [children and adults],” he said.
The show is free for everyone to see and guests can also enjoy a Happy Hour rate of 50 percent discount on all drinks.
Dancing and partying follows the show with drink specials from Miller products available during the night.

This year, Varghese is proud to present the “Chef’s Theatre,” a live station featuring the Mongolian Wok with beef, chicken, squid, lamb, shrimps, fish and mussels as primary choices for ingredients. “It’s a favorite station among guests, as they can have the chef prepare whatever they fancy before their very eyes. Even what garnishes to add is up to the guests,” said Varghese.
To fit the occasion, the restaurant will offer main entrée selections such as Screaming Mahi with a Spicy Tomato Salsa, Cracked Up Batter Dipped Fried Fish and Seafood with a Spotted Sauce, Tingling Penne Arrabiatta, Skinned Potatoes with Crawling Onions, Scared and Stuffed Spring Rolls, Closely Shaved Kalbi Qui, Korean Phantom Children Drumsticks, Spicy Beaten Burmese Lamb Curry, and Phantasm Stir-fried Vegetable Noodles.
