Aqua Resort Club recently donated $200 to the Mariana Islands Nature Alliance. MINA, a partner of Beautify CNMI!, was one of the beneficiaries of the Ari Onishi Green Concert Dinner Show, which was held on Oct 7.

“We humbly accept this donation and welcome Aqua Resort Club as a member to MINA,” said MINA chair Jesse Borja. He said that Aqua Resort Club’s donation will be earmarked for MINA’s three-year goals, focusing on coral reef protection and solid waste management.

The Ari Onishi/Green Concert Dinner Show is an evening of enchanting piano music and a full course gourmet dinner that will continue to raise funds for environmental organizations and activities, including Beautify CNMI! Ari Onishi is a singer/songwriter from Japan and has performed for many celebrities as well.

Also, this Saturday, Oct 21, starting at 8am, MINA will hold its monthly cleanup at Wing Beach. This cleanup activity is part of its goal to reduce litter at beach sites. Since the nonprofit organization adopted Wing Beach in June 2006, over 900 lbs of trash has been collected. More information about MINA is available at its website www.minapacific.org. Memberships are welcome at any time. (PR)
