Respect latte stones

Those latte stones inside the jungle deserve our utmost respect and dignity. They are the historical symbols of the past. Those who are contemplating to destroy them may find themselves taking a big risk. Those who are contemplating to profit from them are leading themselves to the edge of the mountain. The message is loud and clear! The law is the law! The law of the land is not low to comprehend the realities between right, wrong, good, bad, and ugly.
The latte stones here in the CNMI represent the transformation of our imagination and dream of the past, present and future. We must take pride and adore our latte stones here in the CNMI. We must do everything within our means to promote and protect them, culturally, educationally, and legally. We must demonstrate our pride and everlasting appreciation for our latte stones here at home.
Look at those latte stones on the island of Rota. Go down there and see for yourself. Notice how the people respect and appreciate them. This is why the people of Rota are culturally and economically cohesive. It’s because they are always open-minded about the beauty of their island’s natural environment. This is why those latte stones on Rota are always well taken care of with respect, adoration, pride, and dignity by the local people. It’s because these stones signify the culture, tradition, history, and legacy of the island and those who have gone to their final resting place.
Therefore, do not remove those latte stones without the permission of “guela”, “guelo”, and the CNMI Historical Preservation Office. Do not turn them into a shooting range practice field. Leave them alone. And don’t ever think about them maliciously.
