The October Pepsi King and Queen of the Lanes Tenpin Bowling Tournament will be held this coming Sunday, Oct. 22, and Monday, Oct. 23, at the Capital Bowling Center.

The competition is exclusive for Saipan Bowling Association members with participants limited to 60 on Sunday and 48 on Monday.

Sunday’s roll-off would begin as early as 4pm, while Monday’s competition starts at 6pm. Awarding ceremonies immediately follow the end of competition on Monday.

Members have the option to bowl on the Sunday or Monday, or on both days, provided that the $15 entry fee is paid. Bowlers who did not bowl on Sunday will be given priority for the Monday shift. Only the higher score will count for the tournament.

The champion is guaranteed $100 in prize money but it could go up to as much $150 depending on the number of participants. Women participants will only have separate prizes if there are at least 10 entries.

Youth bowlers (12 to 19 years old, not bowling in any leagues or averaging less than 160 in any league) will only bowl on Sunday. Entry fee is $10.

The Pepsi King and Queen of the Lanes Tournament aims to crown 12 monthly champions through the course of the year.
