Saipan Seventh-day Adventist School held its 8th grade’s commencement ceremony on the school grounds late Thursday afternoon, with Anamaria Inos graduating with the highest honors.

The theme “Hands of Friendship” gathered some four graduates on stage to share their hard-earned diplomas with their family and friends.

Inos extended her appreciation to her family, teachers, and friends for their support through out her school year.

“I would like to thank my teachers for guiding me…thank you for having faith in me. To my friends and family, thank you for giving me the courage to be myself,“ she said.

“To my fellow graduates, what is commonly said is that this is the beginning but I would like to say that this is the closing of one chapter and the opening of a new one.”

“Hopefully we would be together in the road ahead of us, “ she added.

Graduating with second highest honors was class president Mindy Castro.

Prior to closing the ceremony, the graduates gathered by the stage to share the memories they made through a slide show presentation.
