Federal Bureau of Investigation special agent Doug Small is this year’s Top Gun champion.

Small bested 13 other participants from different law enforcement agencies during the Department of Public Safety’s annual Top Gun competition held Monday at the DPS shooting range in San Juan. Commonwealth Ports Authority assistant chief Jordan Kosam grabbed the second place. Last year’s Top Gun winner, Police Officer 2 Norman Rasiang, landed on third place when his gun’s trigger broke.

The Commonwealth Ports Authority led by Sgt. John Rebuenog emerged champion in the team category.

CPA fielded two teams, while DPS had three times in the team competition.

The participants competed in the shotgun, M-16 rifle, and .9 mm during the one-day event.

The gun competition was part of the Police Week activities.
