Pacific investment conference in Nov.
TAMUNING, Guam—Corazon S. de la Paz, president of the Geneva-based International Social Security Association and concurrent president and chief executive officer of the Philippine Social Security System, has joined a line up of internationally recognized speakers at the 6th Annual Pacific Region Investment Conference to be held on Nov. 9 and 10, 2006, in Manila, the Philippines.
Mrs. de la Paz has an MBA from Cornell University, New York. She is a CPA and was formerly Chairperson and Senior Partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers, Philippines, and a member of the Price Waterhouse World Board.
“We are delighted that Mrs. de la Paz has agreed to speak at our conference. With her experience and overview of social security funds throughout the world, she is sure to offer unique insight into the challenges that all large funds and their boards face,” said Gerard Cruz, chairman of the Asia Pacific Association for Fiduciary Studies, which hosts the conferences.
