Action in the fourth week of the 2006 Budweiser Cup BANMI Men’s Island-wide Basketball League will unfold tomorrow, as all six teams will suit up at the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium.

Having the honors of taking the court first are the CNMI Nationals and Cyclones-O’Doul’s, who are scheduled to battle at 4pm. Fresh from claiming the title in last week’s San Jose Fiesta Basketball Tournament, the Nationals are looking to improve their 1-1 record, while the Cyclones are aiming to break into the win column after dropping their first two games of the season.

Meanwhile, Samahang Ilokano at Pangasinense-Bud Light will put its undefeated record on the line as it goes for its third straight win against No Zone-Bacardi, which enters with a 1-1 card. Their bout is scheduled to tip off at 6pm.

Closing the evening is Microl-Bud Ice, which also sports a perfect 2-0 record. The team will take on three-time defending champion Ol’Aces-Budweiser, which experienced a rough start and is looking for its first win of the season after dropping the first two games.

Next week, No Zone will face the Cyclones at 4pm followed by SIP and the Ol’Aces at 6pm. The Nationals will take on Microl at 8pm.

The regular season concludes on May 27 and the playoffs are scheduled to begin on June 3, with the top two teams getting a first round bye.

The No. 3 and No. 6 teams will battle while the No. 4 and 5 teams face off. The winners will take on the top two teams in the semifinals. The championship game will be played on June 10 at 8pm following the consolation bout.
