The CNMI State Board of Education and the Public School System, its administrators, staff and students, join the parents on Saipan, Tinian, and Rota to extend appreciation to the Northern Mariana Islands’ teachers during the celebration of National Teacher Appreciation Week.

The future of our community depends greatly on the quality of education our children receive. Today’s teachers mold our future citizens. They open our children’s mind to the magic of ideas, knowledge and dreams through their guidance and education. As listeners, explorers, role models, motivators and mentors, they help all children grow and learn and continue to influence them long after their school days are only memories. Thank you for helping us build a stronger community and a brighter future.

Although we take time each year to recognize you for your remarkable dedication and tireless efforts in support of education, your tremendous and direct effect on the lives of those we serve—the students—is greatly appreciated on a daily basis. Please accept our deep appreciation and gratitude for your hard work.

Chairman, Board of Education
