Time is running out for CNMI individuals who are interested in turning their drab kitchens into fab kitchens as Marianas Pacific Dist., Inc. ends its “Kusinan Bud: the Extreme Outdoor Kitchen Giveaway” promo this Saturday, May 13.

Marpac marketing manager Joseph Camacho said that Budweiser, The “King of Beers” will end its promo by determining the big winner at the Joeten Dan Dan Supermarket through a series of fun and games on Saturday.

Camacho said Budweiser wants to turn one lucky consumer’s backyard into a family oriented dream kitchen.

He said the promo aims to provide CNMI consumers this dream package worth $10,000 “to help someone make the best of their leisure time, time with their family, or for that down home Sunday barbecue.”

“We wanted to give them something different. We’ve done shopping sprees, Shell gas-for-a-year, flyaway packages. This time we wanted to give away something that would last a long time, and reward them for the many years of spending their hard-earned dollars on Budweiser products and at Budweiser promotions,” said Camacho.

The promo is one of the biggest prizes Budweiser will be giving away. Camacho said the grand prize package includes: a limited edition Weber Genesis stainless steel barbecue grill, limited edition Coleman cooler, stove, sink, table and chairs, pot rack, refrigerator, and branded barbecue utensils.

Camacho said the construction of the kitchen is an added value to the prizes that would appropriately fit the kitchen showcase to suit the taste and needs of the winner.

To qualify for the “Kusinan Bud” promo, participants must bring either one official “Kusinan Bud” shirt, hat, or kitchen towel to Joeten DanDan on Saturday. These items can be obtained by buying a case or more of the Bud Family drinks at participating locations: Joeten Susupe, Hanam Market, I-Mart, Joeten Hafa Adai, Martha’s Store, Kagman Market, and Joeten Dandan.

To complete the registration for Saturday’s Grand Finale event, participants should register using their Bud Fresh Rewards Card. He said these cards are available at the Marpac office in Gualo Rai. “All they need to do is go to our office and fill out some forms to get the Bud Fresh Rewards Card.”

Kusinan Bud gear will be available until Saturday, right before the event.

Participants must have both the Bud Fresh Rewards Card and one Bud gear, said Camacho.

The grand finale of the two-month promo will be held at 3pm to 6pm at the Joeten Dan Dan Supermarket. “Bud-lympics,” the ultimate game of skills, will be held to determine the winner of the grand prize.
