Fighters interested in showcasing their mix martial arts skills have the golden opportunity to do so as Trench Warz III: Commotion will soon hit center stage.

Interested fighters, however, must register a week before the May 27 fight night.

This according to Trench Tech Purebred Saipan Gym owner and event coordinator Cuki Alvarez, who disclosed that all fighters must register by May 20 to give him enough time to match fighters up for the cards.

The featured fights will be boxing, submission wrestling, no-hold-barred and full contact matches, which could go up to more than 16 contests.

Alvarez had earlier announced that the third edition of Trench Warz has already attracted fighters from Guam as a result of two local warriors—Frank “The Crank’ Camacho and “Suicide” Cliff Masga—showing their stuff in a similar event on Guam last month.

Two fighters from Guam have confirmed challenging Saipan fighters, with one going up against street figther Ken Taitano or Arthur Reyes of Trench Tech, and the other facing Trench Tech’s Giovanni Sablan. Both Guam fighters are of the Spike 22 family, a sister-school to Trench Tech.

Trench Warz III: Commotion will be held at the Trench Tech Gym behind Moylans Insurance in Garapan.

According to Alvarez, tickets for the event will be sold for $20 instead of the usual $15 at the event will also serve as a fundraiser for CNMI wrestling team to the upcoming 6th Micronesian Games. Proceeds from all beverages and food sold during the event will be donated to the Micronesian Games Organizing Committee.

To register or for more information about the fight or mixed martial arts, contact Alvarez at 888-8327 or stop by the Trench Tech Gym.
