While the decision makers of athletic associations have been holding tryouts, meetings, and strategy sessions aimed at shoring up their squads for the upcoming 6th Micronesian Games, some are still looking at the prospects and analyzing the cogs that will best fit their summer time dream teams.

The baseball team is one of the medal hopeful squads that is looking to make a name for itself when the best teams from the Pacific come to Saipan next month to playball at Francisco M. Palacios Baseball Field.

All that the organizers of America’s pastime have to do is figure out who take the field and who will be in the dugout come opening day, and that will all happen tonight as all coaches and managers of the Saipan Major League are required to meet tonight to select the squad that will bring home the bacon for the CNMI.

The meeting of the diamond minds starts at 5:30pm in the conference room of the Gilbert C. Ada Gymnasium at the Oleai Sports Complex.
