Guam bankers spearhead the ‘Teach Children to Save Day’

Hagatna, Guam—For the fourth year, the Bank of Guam, in association with local banks, is participating in a program called National Teach Children To Save, created by the American Bankers Association Education Foundation. On Tuesday, April 25, 2006, dozens of local bankers will teach savings fundamentals to elementary, middle and high school children. Participating public schools include: LBJ Elementary, Tamuning Elementary, Merizo Martyrs Elementary, Talofofo Elementary, Inarajan Elementary, Harry S. Truman Elementary, J.Q. San Miguel Elementary, and George Washington High School. Private schools participating include Saint Anthony Catholic School, Bishop Baumgartner Memorial School, San Vicente Catholic School and the Academy of Our Lady of Guam
