Hopwood happenings
April 24: SAT10 Testing all week. Bring two number 2 pencils and an eraser. Get a good night’s sleep and eat breakfast.
* Effective immediately, any 8th graders suspended for any reason will not walk at promotion on May 24.
* Effective immediately, all fighters will be automatically suspended.
* Friday, March 31, will be report card day. School will be half-day. Students will be dismissed at 12:30pm. Report cards will be disseminated 2:30-6pm. School newsletters will be distributed.
There will be a PTSA this Thursday, April 6, at 6pm in the library. The agenda will include promotion update, a chance for vendors to showcase their wares, counseling, etc.
Promotion Update: Congratulations to the following vendors for being chosen as the official vendors for the Hopwood Junior High School Promotion Ceremony. These vendors have exclusive rights to advertise on and off campus for promotion on behalf of our school.

CNMI Standards-Based Assessment: May 15-19 (10th, 11th, 12th grade students)
Advanced Placement Exams: May 1-12
May 13: Cultural Day (Regular school day)
May 26 and May 30: Senior graduation practices
May 31: Senior awards ceremony
June 01: Graduation Day 4pm MHS Gym

Oleai Elementary School registration
Oleai Elementary School announces that the registration for school year 2006-2007 is ongoing for all incoming Kindergarten and new first (1st) graders. Registration will end on April 28, 2006, from 8am to 4pm. Students entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old by end of August 2006 and students entering First Grade must be 6 years old by end of August 2006.
For Transfer-In students into Oleai Elementary School, (Grades 2 through 6) registration will be in June to July 2006.
Documents required for registration are as follows:
1. Birth certificate (from the court)
2. School Entrance Health certificate (CHC/PHS card)
3. Current School Accident or Health Insurance Coverage
4. Residency Map
5. Legal Adoption/Guardianship Documents (if applicable)
6. Valid CNMI entry permit (if applicable)
7. Transfer-in/withdrawal forms and report card from previous
Oleai Elementary School zone covers the areas bounded by south of Naked Fish Restaurant on beach Road, Gualo Rai, Chalan Laulau, Chalan Kiya (Golf Course), bottom of As Terlaje Hill, North of Island Market to Falaghula and San Jose (Oleai).
