Aon Insurance Tennis Tournament kicks off April 20

The inaugural Aon Insurance Tennis Tournament will start on April 20 at the American Memorial Park tennis courts with singles competition featured in the first week followed by the doubles event the following week.
Saipan Tennis Association is organizing the event, which boasts of 18 divisions in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
The opening week of competition will see action in the men’s and women’s open, men’s 4.5, men’s and women’s 4.0, men’s and women’s 3.0, and men’s 2.0. The second week, meanwhile, will feature play in men’s, women’s, and mixed open, men’s, women’s, and mixed 4.0, and men’s, women’s, and mixed 3.0.
Deadline for entries in both the singles and doubles events is Sunday, April 16. Entry fee is $10 for STA members and $15 for non-members. Players are allowed to enter a maximum of only two divisions for each week of competition.
Draw date for the singles event is April 16, while the draw date for the doubles is a week later on April 23. Both draws will be held at the AMP clubhouse beginning at 6pm.
