It’s humongous. It’s spectacular. It’s colorful.

Not exactly the words you would use to describe an egg but local visitors and tourists had no other words for it when they saw the Easter egg on display at the lobby of the Fiesta Resort & Spa since Friday afternoon.

Fiesta’s F&B director Jimmy Kok said the hotel mounted the display at the hotel lobby as part of the upcoming Easter Sunday celebration in the CNMI on April 16.

Jimmy is encouraging visitors and guests to have their pictures taken with the largest Easter egg on the island.

He said the concept for the Easter egg display was executed in collaboration with the hotel’s Engineering Department. To complement the display, an Easter Bunny will join guests for fantastic photo souvenirs with their families.

For the upcoming Easter celebrations, Jimmy said the hotel’s restaurants—World Café and Mai Restaurant—will be coming up with Easter Sunday treats.

The Mai Restaurant, formerly known as Shimbashi Restaurant, offers an Easter Sunday brunch at $25 for adults and $12.50 for kids. The World Café, formerly known as Le Creole, offers an Easter Sunday lunch for only $18 per adult and $9 only for kids.

Jimmy said both restaurants’ Easter diners would have the chance to join the hotel’s fun and games. There will be an Easter egg hunt and an egg painting contest. He said great prizes await the winning participants.

Free pool passes will be given away to dine in guests and kids will also be given free Whimsy tokens.

“Easter Sunday guests are assured of the widest and the biggest selection of dishes, considered to be the biggest selection of brunch items on the island,” said Jimmy, adding that the hotel has enhanced the food selections at all their restaurants.
