The Commonwealth Utilities Corp. said that its offices at La Fiesta, San Roque, and the Water and Wastewater Divisions on Capitol Hill are relocating to the 3rd floor of the Joeten Dandan Building.

This is to inform all members of the Chuukese Catholic Youth Association in Koblerville that a Trashathon is scheduled to be held on Saturday, April 8, 2006, at 1pm to 3pm. It will start from the Mount Carmel Cathedral Church in Chalan Kanoa and end at the Christo Rai Church in Garapan.

DANDAN CARNIVAL FAIR SET
The Dandan Elementary School will have its Cultural and Carnival Day festivities on April 8, 2006, from 8:30am to 4pm. Vendors interested in selling their wares are encouraged to call the school for confirmation. On this day we will be having a ribbon cutting for the newly built DES playground.
There will be entertainment by the DES students, other dance organization, and the the Inatuas Cultural Dancers. There will be lunches for sale, booth and games for children, car show and many more.
The Dandan community and the public are invited to this event and help support the school in its efforts to raise funds for its many needs.
“Come and join the mighty Tottots. Bring your child/ren and family and help us celebrate this special event. Thank you for your continued support in our endeavor and meeting our set goal. Come one, come all,” said school principal Jonas Barcinas.

FREE PRAXIS REVIEW
Any Public School System teacher who is interested in taking a free 40-hour review course to prepare for the PRAXIS II Examination in Social Studies: Content Knowledge, during the upcoming Easter break (April 10-15, 2006) may contact Vince Riley at 234-3856 (H), or 234-3690 Ext. 1733 (W), or email him at vriley2@yahoo.com.
This course will be sponsored by the Public School System, if sufficient enrollment (20 students) is reached. The instructor has received a Recognition of Excellence certificate from the Educational Testing Service for his performance in this exam, and is interested in helping others prepare for a successful exam. INCOME TAX RETURN FILING DEADLINE
Division of Revenue & Taxation is informing all CNMI residents that the deadline for tax filing of the 2005 Individual Income Tax Return is Monday, April 17, 2006 at the office of the Division of Revenue and Taxation located at the Joeten Dandan Commercial Center.
The deadline hours for April 17, 2006 are from 7:30am to 10:30pm. (PR)

The Attorney General’s Office wants to hear from all CNMI consumers who have been solicited by a company calling themselves Community Reading Club of Southern California. This company contacts consumers over the phone and tries to sell them magazine subscriptions. Often, the sales pitch involves an offer of a “free” gold watch with the placement of an order with this company, please call the Attorney General’s Office of Consumer Counsel at 664-2333. You may be entitled to a refund.
MEMORIAL DAY PREPARATIONS
On May 29, 2006, Memorial Day, the CNMI will be paying tribute to members of the U.S. Armed Forces who have passed on.
This is to let all Memorial Day Committee members and all interested in being a part of the committee know that we will begin to meet every Tuesday at 9am at the Office of Military/Veterans Affairs on Capitol Hill building 1365. Everyone is encouraged and invited to attend.
