Creating excellence with SHRM on Administrative Professionals Day

Celebrate Administrative Professionals Day with the Society for Human Resource Management at the Charley’s Cabaret of the Pacific Islands Club Saipan on April 26, 2006.

The event—from 11am to 1pm—will feature a presentation on “Humanagement”, Effective Communication and Telephone Etiquette; a champagne toast saluting administrative professionals; and a fashion show featuring clothes from Papaya and raffle prizes.

The Society for Human Resource Management has invited Dr. Peter C. Eche, to speak on Leadership, Effective communication and Telephone Etiquette. Leadership will focus on the principle of “Humanagement”. Effective communication is the key to getting off to a good start of leadership with employees. Strong leadership cannot be accomplished without communication. There are ways of getting information absorbed and understood by the targeted audience.

Motivational Speaker Dr. Peter C. Eche known as expert on leadership, communicates his leadership principles to hundreds of people, providing creative solutions to various business concerns, adviser and consultant of various companies, politicians, and entrepreneurs. He has an outstanding record of success in the fields of general administration, stratgic planning, marketing strategies, new market development, market research and forecasting, formulation and execution of policies and executions of sound financial management. Eche was the executive vice president of John F. Kennedy Center, established the Legacy Institute, and is currently the president of World Pacific Center. He is also a special adviser For training with the Office of Personnel Management.

The Magellan Lunch Buffet will feature traditional salads terrines, homemade rolls, hot gourmet sandwiches, pan-fried salmon with dill mustard sauce, pasta Primavera, fresh fruits and assorted pastries.

The event will cost $30 for SHRM members and $40 non-SHRM members and includes lunch, presentation materials, and raffle.

All SHRM members and administrative professionals are urged to join their peers for this current and informative conference. Non-members in the business community, whether owners, managers or human resource professionals, are invited to learn more about the Society and to improve their human resource knowledge through the program.

The CNMI Chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management is the Commonwealth’s foremost professional forum for discussion and training in Human Resource matters. Recognized as a Superior Merit Chapter, the CNMI branch is composed of human resource professionals from a variety of industries, large and small, who recognize a need for a local society for professionals in the human resources field. The CNMI Chapter is affiliated with the national organization.
