‘Protect your business against fraud and theft’
The Saipan Chamber of Commerce’s Small Business Committee will present a half-day workshop on “Protecting your Business from Theft and Crime.”
The workshop will run from 8am to noon on Wednesday, March 29, at the Fiesta Resort & Spa’s Acuzena I & II.
“This timely workshop will give business owners and managers important information to protect themselves against internal theft and how to guard against counterfeit money or credit card and check fraud. We’ll also have a session with tips for screening for employee integrity at hiring time,” said Jim Arenovski, chairman of the Chamber’s Small Business Committee.
Speakers include a representative from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, an accountant, a security firm employee, CrimeStoppers, an expert in personnel, and more.
As an added bonus, there will be concurrent security trade fair.
“Come and check out the latest tools to protect your business,” the Chamber said in a statement.
There will also be drawings for raffle prizes throughout the workshop.
Cost is $10 per person for Chamber member employees and $20 per person for non-Chamber members. Call 233-7150 for reservations. (PR)
