Travel magazine visits the Marianas

The Marianas Visitors Authority hosted a familiarization trip for the Elite Traveller Magazine from Feb. 20 to 28, 2006.
The media was accompanied by Chinese actress Zhan Xiao Nan, who modeled for the magazine.
“Elite Traveller Magazine (ET Magazine) is Ctrip.com’s official publication and enjoys a circulation of 300,000 a month. The magazine is distributed to Ctrip.com members every month, and targets FIT travelers and travel enthusiasts nationwide who are largely white-collar workers, between the ages of 30 and 45. From January 2006, ET Magazine has also become available at bookstores across China,” said MVA acting deputy managing director Martin Duenas.
“We had a fantastic time in the CNMI and we will write an article introducing hospitality, services and the beautiful scenery, we are fortunate enough to enjoy and share with our readers,” said Tao Yuan, Elite Traveller Magazine chief editor. Zhan Xiao Nan also stated, “I would encourage my friends to visit the CNMI for their holidays as it is very unique.”
ET Magazine plans to run 45 – 50 pages on the CNMI, which will include flight, hotel, car rental, diving, restaurant, spas and ground operator information, with an estimated ad value of $250,000.
The trip was made possible in conjunction with the Tinian Dynasty Hotel and Casino, Saipan World Resort, Aqua Resort Club, Tony Roma’s, Saipan Sea Venture, Tasi Tours & Transportation, Pacific Subsea Saipan, Pacific Islands Club Saipan, Keeraku Restaurant, Ming Palace Restaurant, and Empress Tour.
